Badminton star PV Sindhu scripted history by becoming the first Indian woman athlete to win an Olympic silver medal in a nail-biting match against with two-time World Champion Carolina Marin.
Sindhu said she was very happy with the silver medal, and added that she had worked hard for it.
Politicians, film personalities and the sports fraternity joined the social media chorus in praising Sindhu.
