Akshay Kumar, who lives in a duplex in the Mumbai suburb of Juhu, Andheri West along with wife Twinkle Khanna, recently invited Casa Vogue over to their abode for an elaborate photo shoot.
The article illustrates in great detail Kumar's magnificent home that boasts of some very tastefully picked artifacts — from a Baby Jesus sculpture, bought from Spain; to a 13-part pendant light installation by Klove Studio; to an indoor pond. From all descriptions, the place looks and sounds like a contemporary palace peppered with medieval art.
The interiors have been done up by Khanna herself, who runs the home decor boutique The White Window. However, their house reflects a blend of both her and her husband's tastes.
And the result is a sprawling nest that is every bit deserving of being called a movie star's den.
