One day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about human rights abuses in Balochistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has also lashed out against Pakistan, comparing it to hell.

In the backdrop of persisting violence in the Kashmir Valley and ceasefire violations along the border, Parrikar accused India's neighbor of supporting terrorism.

"Kal humare jawano ne five logon ko wapas bhej dia, Pakistan mein jaana aur nark mein jaana ek hi hai (Our soldiers sent back five terrorists yesterday, going to Pakistan is like going to hell," said Parrikar, while addressing a rally at Rewari in Haryana on Tuesday.

"They have been supporting terrorism. Now they are facing the consequences of that support," he said.

Five militants were killed as the Indian army foiled a major infiltration bid along the Line of Control in the Uri sector of Kashmir on Monday, Press Trust of India reported.

On Tuesday, five Kashmiris were killed in fresh clashes between security forces, and stone throwing protestors in Budgam district, taking the death toll from the ongoing violence in the Kashmir Valley to 65.
