Everyone knows that Shah Rukh Khan, probably India's most visible face abroad, also has one of the wittiest voices on Twitter. So when he was detained at an airport in Los Angeles, instead of throwing a fit, he mildly expressed his irritation at being detained "at US immigration every damn time".
He quipped that he even caught some Pokémons while waiting. His tweets were soon followed by an apology by the US Ambassador to India, Richard Verma.
The brighter side is while waiting caught some really nice Pokemons.

The Bollywood actor was held back at the airport on Thursday evening for questioning by the US Immigration Department, making this his third episode in seven years.
This is what he tweeted out:
I fully understand & respect security with the way the world is, but to be detained at US immigration every damn time really really sucks.

Nisha Biswal, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, also apologised to the actor.
Sorry for the trouble at LAX @iamsrk. We are working to ensure it doesn't happen again. Your work inspires millions, including in the US.

Sorry for the hassle at the airport, @iamsrk - even American diplomats get pulled for extra screening!

Khan's response was gracious:
No trouble sir, respect the protocol & not expecting 2 b above it. It's just a tad inconvenient. Thx for ur concern. https://t.co/zQspvxnXsl

The actor was detained in 2012 at a New York airport, and in 2009 at Newark as his name had come up on an alert list. Earlier this year, in an interview with CNN's Fareed Zakaria, Khan described his 2012 experience as an uncomfortable one, and said he would be the first person to demand strengthening of security if a situation demands in India. "It just was very uncomfortable. To land up somewhere and getting stuck in an airport for 2-3 hours for no reason at all." he said.
No one makes the best of a bad situation like SRK. Always remain your chill self, sir.
