NEW DELHI -- A 35-year-old woman was allegedly gang raped and thrown off a train in Uttar Pradesh, which resulted in the survivor losing her right leg.
Villagers heard her screaming in pain near Khazakhurd railway station, PTI reported.
The woman, who was traveling on the Tamsa passenger train from Audihar to Jaunpur, alleged that she was gang raped by two persons and was thrown off the moving train.
The local police told TOI that an initial medical examination had not confirmed rape, and the authorities are now awaiting a pathology test report.
