People on the Internet consume a lot of pornographic material but when the Apple event is going on, there is a significant drop in the traffic to the porn websites.
A recent report published by the website PornHub suggests that the iPhone and the iPad users prefer watching the Apple event over porn.
The company said that 35% users of the daily 60 million of the website are iOS users. But during the Apple event held on Wednesday, the traffic from those devices dropped almost 9.5%.
The data also suggests the similar traits on the Safari browser. There was a drop of 8.8% from the regular traffic during the event from the desktops. Although the consumption went 6% above the average once the event was over.
Apple announced the new pair of iPhones at the event. iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus were announced with upgrades such as better camera, a larger battery, better processor and two new Black colors. (PornHub poked fun at that calling it eBony). The company also announced the new smartwatch called Apple Watch series 2. The second generation Apple watch has built-in GPS for better tracking as well as water resistive properties for better fitness management.
